In this episode, Janeway and Paris encounter a subspace fracture while investigating a global disaster, only to find themselves sent back in time one day prior to the event.
In back to back weeks, we get a temporal mechanics episode. Though this episode was fun and involved conflicts with the Prime Directive, it was lacking in character backstory.
We were able to learn a little more about Janeway and Paris, as well as a discovery to Kes's special ability.
Time and Again may have been better suited later in season 1, but it doesn't disappoint.
